Curated Selections for the Health-Conscious Wine Fan.

Be the hero at your next dinner party, barbecue or weekend getaway!

This is about wine as nature intended. Wine made the old-fashioned way. Wine you can actually TASTE THE REAL FLAVOR from--instead of the taste of chemicals, pesticides and added sugars of traditional mass-produced wines.

Grapes are meant to be as pure as possible. And, yes, we know that grapes tend to march to the beat of their own drum.

Now, I’ve been a wine fan all my adult life, a wine pro for the past four years, and was ready to continue my sommelier training. But as the saying goes: “You don’t know what you don’t know...until you know.”

Then it hit me: I, like many consumers, was unaware of the hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of chemicals and pesticides, plus added sugars and added sulfites, in mass-produced wines. In addition, I got the cancer scare and it got me thinking that there just has to be better wines out there.

These days, I get to tap into my "inner somm" without having to go through the junk-filled wine!

The wines featured with me are from vineyards around the globe--in facilities practicing sustainable and biodynamic process, the grapes are hand-picked, there is little intervention of the grapes, and (the best part) -- none of the junk. And the wines change periodically, which adds to the excitement of always trying something new!

If I’m drinking wine, I would want to it to be as organic, vegan and chemical-free as possible. How about you? Remember, be the hero: you deserve wine that’s worth your time.

P.S. I run a purpose-driven business: ten percent of all sales goes to The Alicia Garden Project, an effort dedicated to supporting local therapy gardens which provide healing to patients. Now, you're asking, who is Alicia? It's my mom's middle name. My mom was a garden lover, and in her last years of life, therapy gardens gave her a sense of joy and calm. I honor her memory to sustain therapy gardens in our community.

Cheers!
